Fc 26 ultimate team rivals loss of league rank randomly

I finished playing rivals mode on Wednesday night  and when I logged back in the next day I found i had lost my ranking by 9 positions from division 7 rank ten to division 7 rank one . Extremely frustrating as one more win would of secured promotion to division 6. What is the point of spending all the money to get better players only for ea to demote us  . I have played ultimate team for years but that's the final straw , I will never buy anymore fc points from now on , completely  unacceptable and a con
