HELP account link issue

I got a Nintendo Switch 2 for Christmas. 
I was invited thru Friends Pass to play It Takes Two,  one month later and I still cannot play.  

Every time I accept the invite and click Play Online, I get an error “Your account settings have changed. Please connect again now. Result Code: 105-80190000”

Googling and Reddit seem to indicate there was an issue linking the account. I attempted to unlink the account but it says I have to wait 6 months.  For what I don’t know.  

Does anyone know what the issue is or how do I fix?

    This is due to issues with how the Switch and the account are communicating I think chivayy​.

    What you can try is going into options and set  time and date to Synchronise via Internet.

    Once done clear your console cache

    1. System Settings
    2. System ⇒ Formatting Options ⇒ Clear Cache
    3. Select user you'd like to clear the cache for

    Let us know how you get on.

    I tried this and nothing. I even had ChatGPT try to guide me on this and nothing. We can’t seem to be able to play online. Is there a way I can get a refund? I had the friends pass and I thought maybe if I purchase the full game it’ll work. NOTHING.  I don’t seem to have any problems plying with other games online, but this one. This one just won’t go through.

    Hey all, when I had this issue what worked for me was removing the game and/or friend pass, unlinking my EA account and then linking it to a new one

    Now there are risks involved in doing this outlined here

    I can’t unlink my account. It says I have to wait until June 27.  I sent a request to unlink a month ago, but I have heard back.  I sent a follow up two weeks ago and still have heard anything.   Any suggestions?

    Also, I tried clearing cache, synchronizing the time via Internet, update DNS to 8’s and 4’s, nothing works. 

    I just got off with EA Support who said they were opening a bug for this, he saw in the forums that other people were reporting this problem.  I asked what’s next he said keep a the out of the official channels.  I don’t have high hopes here, I found this issue was reported over two years an ago, how and why is this still a problem.   More importantly, why is the game still being sold for the Switch if it doesn’t work???  This is very frustrating.

    This didn't work for me and, reading through other threads, doesn't work for most people. Same with clearing the system cache, doing the clock sync, and updating the DNS. I, like many others, bought this game exclusively to play online. It's been over two years. When will there be an actual fix?
