Help with unlinking steam from recovered compromised account

My account was compromised a few days ago, but I've recovered it. But now i can't play anything as my steam account was unlinked, and the thief's steam account was linked. It says I have to wait 6 months before unlinking the account, which is way too long.

I tried contacting support, but just got an advisor who can't actually do anything. When I tried to contact support again there's no other option besides "contact an advisor" which is now also greyed out.

Is there any way to get in contact with actual support?

    Sorry BIueice999​, but if our team has reviewed your account and advised that they are not able to relink your account, then this would not be something that we can help with.

    The best thing I can recommend is to speak with the team again to see if there is anything they can do to speed up the process.

    Hi, 

    I was told "Kindly informing that you recently unlink steam from the account, we can't able to unlink it again before the cooling period of six months ."

    So I asked if it's not possible for support to remove/unlink the account since my account was compromised when the relinking happened.

    and they replied with "I understand you totally but as per the procedure we don't have the access to make these changes . I hope you understand the limitations ." 

    I asked if there's anything else i could do besides waiting the 6 months, to which they responded with "I hope you understand my limitations. If there was any possible way forward with your application, I wouldn't have given it a second thought, but unfortunately it's out of my hands." and after that we ended the chat.

    I've read through that article and looked through any for linking/compromised accounts, and there is nothing about this specific issue.

    Hey BIueice999​ what did our live support advisor say when you spoke with them?

    Generally, if there is a restriction in place relating to account linking or unlinking then this would not be something that we can bypass.

    Worth taking a look at this help article for further assistance.
