I can't unlink my Steam account form some random EA account I don't know.

Hello, the story goes like this. When I try to play the game Battlefront two I bought recently, I'm met with the message that my Steam account is connected to a random EA account I don't recognize,  . I have never used any account that does not end with the part. EA support is useless. I have tried to explain the situation, and they tell me I have to prove the ownership of the account I have no knowledge about, and I don't know the security questions of said account because it does not belong to me. This situation is absurd. Did anyone else run into the same issue and have any solutions for it? Am I permanently locked from playing any other EA game?

    Hello. If you're not able to verify ownership, the advisor won't be able to make any changes to the account. The best I can advise is to do your best to recall the correct answers to the verification questions.

    How am I supposed to do that if I only own the Steam account, not the EA one? It has been connected without my knowledge, and I can't verify the ownership of an account I know nothing about because it isn't mine. I can give the almost unlimited proof of me owning the Steam account, but not when it comes to the EA one. What do I do in this situation?

    You have to have an EA account because your Steam account is linked to it. You should try logging in at profile.ea.com with any email addresses you may have used for this.
