I am trying to change my ID back to Konflixx, which it was in the past, now whenever I try to use that name it tells me it's not a valid ID. However, if I change the spelling to KonflixX it will work no issue. I then try to correct the spelling, and it tells me the name is already in use.
I am at a loss here and I hate the way it looks with the xX.
Community ManagerSorry to be the one to have to say it, but if someone else is using the name, then you will not be able to use it.
If you are seeing an error telling you that the name is already in use, then it means that either someone else is using it or perhaps you have a secondary account that has it as the username.
If the latter, you can open the EA sign in page and hit forgot password and enter any email accounts you have to see if you can find other EA accounts.
If the former, then there would be nothing you can do to get the name back.
