I heve been looking across the forums and nothing helps due to the sillly ai thing that stops me. I just want to be able to link my old xbox account to my new one to get all my stuff back. ive clinked contact us many times and it just comes up with

Community ManagerIf you're having issues logging into your account and can't change the login details yourself, use the contact of "login issues". Support should be able to help you change an e-mail, so you can log into your account again.

As we don't have access to account details here in the forum, we unfortunately can not help with these kinds of issues.
Im trying to get a new email on the ea account i already have but im not able to change it due to the 2fa stopping me on that account. All i need is the email or 2fa to be removed on the account that i am on now so i can carry on playing from the progress i was already at. i remember playing on it not that long ago on steam with it.

are you talking about in-game stuff or games in general? You're trying to link your old xbox account to a new EA account?
Are you getting an error message there/did you already unlink your Xbox account from the old EA account?
Progress doesn't move from one EA account to another, if you relink a platform account, as it's bound to the original EA account. So if you want to play on a new EA account with the old progress, that will unfortunately not be possible.
