I've lost access to my mail address and need help
I apologize for any weird grammar, english isn't my first language. After about 15 years I have lost access to my main mail address, it looks like it was accessed by a stranger and my mail account...
EA Support was able to help me solve the issue and change my Account's email, but I'm replying here to help anyone who might have the same issue in the future.
They did ask me to name any linked accounts, my birthdate, Country, IP-Address and other info connected to my account. After 100% confirming this is my account, they were able to update my account's email address for me and I had to reset the password.
I have now picked a secure password and also connected 2 factor authentication (2FA) via an authenticator app and I recommend doing this if you haven't yet! I do use 2FA for almost all my stuff, but in the future I will make sure to do this on EVERY account I have anywhere.
