Need help unlinking an Xbox account on my old ea account

Unfortunately if you have two accounts linked the option to unlink will not show up. EA is completely useless and no help,  many users such as me are experiencing the same problem with no resolution. I have had multiple chats with EA support only to be told there is nothing they can do it’s super frustrating and seems like they do not care about their customers. 

Same here, I spoke with EA support and they basically have no authorization to be able to do anything. From my understanding, the description for linking at least an Xbox gamer tag is that only one gamer tag can be used for one EA account. It’s very frustrating that EA doesn’t seem to care to change this method. The only reason I could think of it being this way is because of lost progress or some complications when using saved progress trying to play games with achievements and leaderboards.
