Paypal Pay in 3 payment

I'm a little confused. I purchased a Sims expansion via Pay in 3 on Paypal. When I go to Paypal it says that it is pending still even though it is now a month later, it says its something on EA end and they haven't processed it yet or something along those lines. I did receive the game and have been playing it but i'm not sure why my payment is still showing as pending and not the first amount taken already.
