If you're not able to update your account email using these steps, our support team may need to take a look at the account. We are unable to make any changes to an account via the forums.
If you create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can help update the relevant account details.
