Switching Twitch linked accounts

It's nonsense like this that put people off buying your games. Get a grip EA

I had exactly the same problem with their support - ended up having to contact a community manager directly via Discord in order to get it looked at!

We are talking about EA here. They’re hopeless at helping. From what I have figured out, they claim to lock links to a singular account. You cannot change out any of the linked accounts for a new one. Not even if one of the accounts is hacked, bigger or is lost to time. No other company does this. I wonder why? Probably because it makes no sense to lock people away from change because other companies value the player and understand that throughout life, we lost accounts. It’s not unusual for someone to change or update accounts. EA’s excuse with claiming they do this to stop fraud and to stop people from selling accounts. What for? The free skins earned through Twitch? It’s not even worth someone’s time. Their claim is a cop out to screw the honest player.

Dealing with the same issue now on full release. trying to get my twitch drops from beta and they're locked even though it shows i earned them on twitch. i go to link and unlink my twitch account and it tells me only one account can be connected per lifetime and that my account is already connected to some jumble of letters. EA's gotta figure it out 

Just happened to me also, chat advisor being an **bleep** and not wanting to answer any questions or provide any solutions, just wants to end the chat after pasted same information that it presented when linking again. Completely unnacceptable service. At least can play the game without those drops. 

This is absolutely shambolic. All I receive from "support" are worthless AI-generated responses, and there's no way to contact a real human being.

EA will doubtly get better now that its been bought out.
