I also have the same issue. I don't really understand this reason for this policy from a programmers perspective. It seems like a simple hash or date field in the db could be used to prevent multiple installs or even block access to an old account if a new one were linked. At a bare minimum, just require a 1 year wait before unlinking accounts???
If there is some valid 'code' reason for this, then it still seems very easy to at least 'auto-delete' account links after 1... 2... or 3 years of zero activity.
It seems like there are a lot of people that want to give EA a 2nd chance and try BF6 (me included), but will be unable to do so unless we move to a new game console or PC.
