Unable to access old EA account and can't link new one to Xbox account

So basically, a long time ago I had an EA account, that account was linked to both my Xbox account and an old yahoo email. However I can't login to that old account, I can't delete that old account, ...

i

m unable to remove old email from account that i no longer use. I am able to update and receive verification codes to updated email and phone number however i run into a error message each time I enter the verification code.
