Hi all,I wanted to post an update on the situation that myself and seemingly many others are going through.Context: on Sunday, Oct.12 I had my account disabled and banned from playing Battlefield 6. I bought it through steam, played about 4 hours of multiplayer, and about 10 minutes of the campaign. During the campaign, my game crashed. When I rebooted, I found a message that my account has been banned.Since then, the following has happened:I've spoken to an agent through EA Advisor - they told me it's EA's Terms of Service team that takes care of these bans.I opened case 1: It's been transferred about 5 times since Sunday, and is still sitting under my cases.I opened case 2: during the lifecycle of this case, a "gameplay enhancement" ban did appear under my penalty history, but then I got an email from EA saying they're closing it since it's a duplicate. My ban then disappeared from my penalty history. I keep receiving emails from EA regarding the game as if I'm an active player (attached to the post):The above email came in 14 hours ago.After scouring the forums and thorough online investigation, I still have no idea what about my system could've triggered the ban. I have never cheated, wanted to cheat, or done anything that would've violated EA's terms of service. The two potential culprits I found (unconfirmed, and according to the web) that could've done this are:NVIDIA Overlay - used for my GPUSignalRGB - used for my physical PC LEDsRazer Synapse - used for my headsetThe friends that I've been desperately wanting to play with run the exact same software as me, and have had no issues. I have been an EA player for 12 years, and have played BF3, BF4, BF1, BF2042 with no issue. I used Playstation for 3&4, and then PC for the rest of them.Please help raise awareness for this or provide advice. We've been fighting this issue for way too long with no resolution.Anyone have any advice?

😭It is truly unacceptable to be wrongly banned in such an unjust manner, and being unable to quickly contact the person in charge for resolution is a malicious act towards us players.

You will likely sit at this point forever. I have been for 8 days now, my other appeals have been denied or closed for duplication. Godspeed, this is getting ridiculous now.

Unfortunately, like you said. Many of us have this issue. None of us have been able to actually resolve it. One or two people somehow got advisors to delete their bans, but everyone else is told make an appeal. I have 2 open. One sitting in waiting for studio, the other just "New.". No one has any idea to what is causing the bans. We all have some similar stuff here n there but it's truly random. Some people have rebought the game / subscribed to EA Play pro for now. But even that is a risk. I did that after my steam was banned & so far they've banned 3 accounts. I'm just gonna wait until they figure their issue out.

i believe signal rgb is what got me banned as well. on my second appeal. still no word yet

I also just got rejected this is so absurd to me. Anyone else feel like there character is being attacked? I have quite literally never cheated in a game. The fact that they gave me a completely generic response is so infuriating. I wonder if there's any legal action we can take.

[UPDATE] EA Account Banned - Battlefield 6 (Steam, PC)

I opened case 2: during the lifecycle of this case, a "gameplay enhancement" ban did appear under my penalty history, but then I got an email from EA saying they're closing it since it's a duplicate. My ban then disappeared from my penalty history.
I keep receiving emails from EA regarding the game as if I'm an active player (attached to the post):

After reading i believe you last update, I did find the competitive advantage penalty show up when I had a different case I initially created while it wasn't visible in penalties. I learned from your experience and closed the case that was not tied directly to appealing the penalty to avoid confusion. This morning it changed from new to transferred. I have not got any emails through this process so I'd assume those are just newsletters you subscribed to. I sure hope this "gameplay enhancement" BS gets sorted. The only hunch I have is G-Hub and in my appeal explained that my G600 mouse has 3 resting finger buttons. I used G-Hub to make my new ring finger button ] to get around some games keymapping limitations. I then change ] to grenade key in the game. I was popping lots of smokes right before my ban since I was rushing in with a sledgehammer to get tags.

I am in the same boat as you. I only played about 2 hours of the single player campaign though. I was playing natively, and also with Geforce Now.
I also have the Razer Synapse software installed but for my mouse.

I too have had my account banned for ‘gameplay enhancement’ I was mid game when this happened on 17th October, I also have overlay, synapse but different programs for my rgb’s…icue I believe it’s called, I appealed and now waiting for a response, what has pissed me off more is I didn’t even receive the double xp tokens from the release day issue like they promised, they don’t even full explain the reason for the ban, I’ve tried speaking live chat about it which in itself is a nightmare to get to. Mine too just keeps updating the status but just the date and time changes, it’s frustrating to pay £80 for a game I’ve waited months for, played both pre alpha and beta to be met with this, been a battlefield fan for years and to be banned for something I haven’t even done, I was wondering if maybe the reason was me having tekkit open on another monitor keeping an eye on my machinery, and maybe the anti cheat saw the word mod in there somewhere but I don’t know, all live chat told me was to wait for them to get back to me with an answer

I just got banned while playing with bots only after work haha... i played with real people 2 times in bf6 and only got like 10 kills max and left game to play with bots to chill and i just got banned for cheating? wtf and when i tap appeal button it dont works too **bleep**

Can they even class bot lobbies as cheating??? Surely not as it’s something they’ve implemented into the game… it’s not exploitation surely…I did a few bot lobbies and it was more fun than online, the amount of try hard I came across made it unenjoyable! My ban was for ‘gameplay enhancement’. No idea what this even means
