URGENT: EA account INVISIBLE LINK?

I've been trying to link my EA account to my PlayStation account, however whenever I try to do so, it says my PlayStation account is already linked to an EA account. Panicking I check the email of said account, and its MY email, for MY account but it still doesn't show up as LINKED (what I mean by this is I still have the option to log into my PlayStation account on EA (however, it doesn't work and constantly tells me to go back) and on the PlayStation Network, according to them, I'm not linked with any EA account/network).

I've already tried searching this up multiple times so; no, I don't have a second EA account, yes I have tried a new browser and yes, I cleared my browser cache. 

How can I link my PlayStation account to my EA account if it says they're not linked, yet are linked at the same time? Honestly, I have no clue as to what's going on, so if anyone knows how to fix this and link the two accounts I would really appreciate some insight!
