Xbox account linked to a random @anonymous.ea.com email address

I'm super frustrated. I've been trying to no avail to submit a support request through the ea help portal this evening for an issue that my child's xbox account is apparently linked to some random ea account that neither of us recognize with the email address host of "@anonymous.ea.com" and a message that ea accounts may only be linked once in their existence.

Does anyone know how to get through the asinine support portal where the submit button will actually submit your request and not just say "sorry you need to look at the support questions?"

    Thanks, I've looked through all of those already and need to actually contact support which is what I'm trying to do to no avail
