Don't even bother if you have this issue guys. 14 hours later I finally got them on chat. I explained the issue and they just go through the recovery process. Wouldn't you know my info didn't match.....BECAUSE I DON'T AND HAVE NEVER OWNED THAT EA ACCOUNT. That's the issue!! I'm trying to unlink my xbox account from that hacker EA account and link it to this EA account. This is the 3rd time I have tried to resolve this over 3 years.
Guys don't even bother. Classic EA. They finally come out with one game and everyone quickly realizes why they haven't touched EA garbage for years. Horrendous customer service. Literally prioritizing hackers over paying customers. Pathetic.
