stop backup Desktop and Documents in Onedrive works for me!!
Still having the same issue even after trying all the solutions mentioned here lol.
I just bought Wild Hearts on steam. After installation, the game won't launch after clicking "play". Any solution?
I have the exact same issue,
I've been scouring everywhere; reddit, steam discussions and this forum, and tried every solution suggested but none of them seem to work.Resolved my own issue:
1) In the EA App go to Top left 3 lines, click help - App recovery - clear cache.
2) in Steam, right click Wild Hearts, properties, local files, verify game files
Same issue here. Bought on steam. Also got EA Play Pro just to play early. When I try to launch from steam it fails to launch. I can launch it through EA App but not steam. Also the game says "EA Play Pro" in my collection instead of steam.I had some issues with getting past the gate on the trial despite owning it, so I subscribed to EA Play Pro, uninstalled on steam, reinstalled on the EA app, and then was able to play no problems. Since the game actually came out today, I decided to reinstall on Steam and try playing it from there. It wouldn't launch. So I launched it from the EA App and it worked fine and strangely enough the little header on top of Wild Hearts in the collection changed from EA Play Pro to Steam. So then I decided to uninstall the duplicate of the game that was in the EA folder.... and the game changed back to saying EA Play Pro instead of Steam, and now I absolutely cannot launch the game from Steam.Someone from EA really needs to fix this BS. Once my EA Play Pro runs out it seems like I won't ever be able to launch the game from steam, where I own the game, because of this buggy app.EDIT: THE PLOT THICKENS.I tried an excessively stupid workaround. I added Wild Hearts (which is installed in my STEAM FOLDER) as a "non-steam game" to my steam library.... and it launches just fine. If I use the normal steam link to launch the game, it fails to launch. What the actual F word? This is not an acceptable work around because it doesn't track achievements within steam and doesn't use the steam overlay. What is going on here?1) In the EA App go to Top left 3 lines, click help - App recovery - clear cache.
2) in Steam, right click Wild Hearts, properties, local files, verify game files
It doesn't work for me...

Hi @lawrence8102, and @onedampsock,
When you go to launch the game, is there a particular error message popping up for you? Have you been asked to migrate over from Origin to the EA App?

Question: When you go to launch the game, is there a particular error message popping up for you?
My answer: There is no any error message. After clicking "play" on Steam, EA app will pop up, after clicking "play" on EA app,
it seems that the EA app will be automatically closed or restarted, the game will not lanuch.
Question: Have you been asked to migrate over from Origin to the EA App?
My answer: No. I have only been asked about whether I allow EA app to be installed after clicking "play" on Steam.

Hi @lawrence8102,
Thanks for getting back with the answers to those questions. Completing the migration to the EA app is needed for this. Have you installed the EA App? If not, this guide runs through the steps: How to download, install, and update the EA app

To EA_Lanna:
I have already installed EA app. The problem is that the game will not launch after clicking "play" on EA app. There is no any error message.
