PC Split Fiction Graphics Problem

My partner and I are loving the game so far, the only problem we have been experiencing is in certain scenes the entire screen flashes white. This seems very particular to attack helicopters and their jets. It will stay completely white or flash rapidly making it disorienting. The sequence on future bikes in particular was painful as it was impossible go see anything half the time when being attacked by choppers. No one else seems to be mentioning this and graphics drivers are up to date using a GTX970.
