Hey, gamers!
So, I am seeing a few more players who crash while playing within a good 15-20(ish) minutes give or take. Most appear to be on PlayStation! I reached out to the team but there are no current open issues with the game crashing on PS5.
Can you please run through the following, test these out, and let me know if they work for you?
- Manage your downloadable content (DLC) on PlayStation
- Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
- Verify you signed into your PSN account
- Check for updates
- Restore Licence
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open your PS5 NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4)
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database.
If they do not, we need the following from you!
- EA ID/Steam ID
- Platform
- Which console generation do you have?
- What is your Gamertag/PSN ID?
- Date/time issue occurred?
- Summarize your bug:
- What type of issue do you have? Crash - Disconnect - kicked to main menu etc.
- Which mode has this happened in? Local or online
- Do you own the base game or on Friends Pass?
- Is this during a specific mission or during a cut-scene
Just wanted to pitch in and add: having same issue on PS5. game plays for 10 minutes then freezes. you can return to home via launcher but any attempt to close or swap games result in permanent 'closing game' screen. the system has to be manually reset with power button. this is happening in local mode, with two player split screen.
I've tried: repairing console storage. clearing cache and rebuilding database. specs are as follows:
