Are you guys still experiencing this issue? If so, are you all playing on Nintendo Switch?
We've been seeing more recent reports and hopefully we should have enough examples to raise this bug to the studio, but I want to make sure this is still happening for you. I am having this issue as well. The troubleshooting in the thread did not work for me.
Yes, I am having this issue.
- We are both on Nintendo Switches
- I bought the game and they are using the friend’s pass
- After a few tries, I get past the “account information has changed…” error
- When I invite them, they cannot get past that error
- We have tried all of the troubleshooting steps on this forum (and others)
Please let us know if you can help!
We are having the same problem. We deleted the cache and we still get the same system error. I’m a bit concerned that this game is a scam

I've tried all steps and I keep getting this error when clicking "play online" I cant try it local so I dont even know but I wouldnt be surprised if that doesnt work either PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE

If you are still seeing the error: “Your account settings has changed. Please connect again now. Result Code: 105-80190000”
Let us know the following:
- Gamertag (PSN ID, Nintendo ID):
- Which platform do you play on?
- Have you recently changed your EA account or Platform account settings?
- Have you tried using a different network?
- What other steps have you tried to resolve the issue?

Are you going to fix this, I spent money on your game and cannot play it until you do. This is ridiculous, give me my money back.

I also am having trouble playing it on my switch , it worked once and I was able to play it but now it says the same error result code: 105-80190000 over and over again, I already tried talking to Akhilesh at EA help and they sent me the link to this and to ask you guys to fix it.
Trying to play it takes two online, keep getting error 105-80190000. I love love love this game, so its a shame to have issues with it.
Still having the exact same issue on the switch. Please fix. I got this to play with a friend in a different state and cannot. At least refund the money if you aren't going to solve the problem
EA, please don’t be greedy with this. This is a simple issue that this community needs to have fixed. We have spent the money, we have linked accounts, we’ve agreed to your tos, please do the bare minimum and give us the game we deserve to be able to play. Don’t give us this lame advice, give us results.
Not that any of this information is pertinent but:
- My Gamertag is Strangejo
- I am on the Switch (like the rest of these folks having the issue)
- Nothing has been changed recently
- No I haven't switched networks, I can't afford two internet bills
- I have attempted to clear the cache on my Switch as indicated above and it has done nothing

- Have you tried using a different network? I’m not going to change my home WiFi for this.
- What other steps have you tried to resolve the issue? Tried the suggested technique but it didn’t work
I am still experiencing the same issue! We reset our cache multiple times, I’ve disconnected/reconnected our EA/Nintendo accounts (which I now apparently can’t do again for several months according to your website) and still no help.
please please please report the bug so a patch can be made! clearly enough people are having the issue over the last several years.

i have bought the game and was playing it with my partner and then mid-game tonight it kicked us off to give us the same code as everyone else before is talking about. if you guys at EA could fix that soon that would be very much appreciated. i am playing on a nintendo switch and cleared my cache and that did not help.
I recently purchased It Takes Two to play with my girlfriend when we can't be together. When I select to play online, I receive error code 105-80190000.
Here is what I have tried:
- Cleared the cache
- Checked for corrupted data - no corruption found
- Checked to Nintendo Switch updates - already running latest version
- Checked power to system - all okay
- Changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Platform(Include which Generation): Nintendo Switch OLED
PSN ID or Xbox GT: N/A - Nintendo Switch ID - JonieCache
Type of Network being used: Wired Ethernet
Date/time issue occurred: 1/15/2024 - 9pm Central

Hi,
I recently bought it takes two on nintendo switch OLED and cannot connect to the game anymore, with the resulting error code 105-80190000 mentioned above. I bought the full game, not the friend's pass. I am creating a new subject as EA marked the previous one as "solved", despite numerous people asking for help in the thread.
What I already did:
- Powered the switch off and on
- Uninstall and reinstall the game
- Clear the cache
- Looked for data corruption
- Change DNS server settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Check the date and time were fetched from the internet
None of this works, as it seems to be a server-related problem.
Can anyone please help me with this matter ?

@EA_IlliumHey, can you please raise this issue to the studio? This needs to be brought to your supervisor immediately, as we are all experiencing issues playing online on the switch. I'm begging you to please do something about this!
I contacted EA support and they marked my case as "No fix available" which is unacceptable. We have paid the money and it's clear that this problem has been going on for years. It's insane that nothing is being done!
I don't know if it will work for everyone but I had the same error and I solved it after trying a few things with my friend. First we remove our primary EA accounts and created new EA accounts and linked it with the nintendo account. Then we set the time to be synchronized with the internet and cleared the cache of both switches. Then we restarted our switches. The last step was to uninstall the friend pass and reinstall it, after doing all that, it worked. I don't know exactly what in specific worked but it did after doing all those things. I would recommend doing it in that order if you guys want to try everything
