Shuts down PS5 randomly
Same issue as many others have reported. Downloaded game, played on local, shutdown PS5 without warning in about an hour. Dragon Age does this too. Both EA games. Saw reports of others as well. Not sure if it is a coincidence, but this seems to be a game/company issue. Not a console issue. No other games I've played have this issue.
All normal "fixes" attempted. PS5 is clean and well vented.
Scared to play any other EA games until these fixes are actually done as I don't want to risk actually damaging my console.
Since a different game is causing the same issue, it’s likely a hardware problem rather than something specific to the game itself. Even if both are EA titles, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the cause.
That said, the discussion about the PS5 shutting down or crashing while playing Split Fiction is ongoing here, so I’ll be closing this thread.
