Split fiction Error: “Content download in progress” on PS5

Hi DirteeDanchez, Could you please mention on which platform you and your friend are playing? Also, could it be that the game was, in fact, still being downloaded in the background while you already booted the game?

We were playing local split screen on PS5. I can confirm that the game was fully downloaded before we started playing. I hope that helps!

I am having the same issue playing on the PS5 local split screen. The game is fully downloaded but does a content download after each chapter starting at 85% and taking 20 minutes to reach 100%. 

Same here. Having the exact issue with the loading screen after the Brave Knights chapter. Loading screen is stuck on "Content Download in progress" For 20-30mins. Have tried restarting game and nothing works. Playing on PS5

If you're still encountering the "Content download in progress" error on your PS5, even though the game is fully downloaded and you're playing it, could you please let us know when this happens in the game? Is it during or after the first chapter? You can check the list of levels/chapters here: Game Chapters List [Game Rant], but be cautious as it might contain spoilers.

Also, could you try restoring the licenses on your console to see if that helps? You can find instructions for this here.

This is happening directly after the intro chapter, even though the game is fully downloaded and updated.

Same issue just after completing Intro Level. Fully Downloaded. PS5. Local Play

It happens after every chapter. I did the restore license but it did not fix the issue. 

Is happening to me after the safe fail part before going to level 5

i’m getting the same error after completing chapter one. download is stuck at 96% and won’t progress, playing local play. disappointing for a premium title and would love to resolve this
