I bought this game on steam, tried to launch the game, then it says I may download this game from another account on this device so I can't run it. But this is the only EA account I have and it is the one linked to my steam account(it shows on my EA account page). What should I do?

FIXED!I did two things and now it is fixed. 1) in EA App go to Top left 3 lines, click help - App recovery - clear cache.2) in Steam, right click Wild Hearts, properties, local files, verify game filesSame issue. I have EA Play Pro, but also own the game on steam. The game cannot launch via Steam, only via EA App. I want to play via Steam, not EA Play Pro but the EA App doesn't recognize that the game is owned by Steam.

@DeadlyDonut90 This is an account mixup error, you're logging into the EA app using an account that's not linked to your Steam.

If you log out then go to EA.com you can log in with a Steam option.

You can then go to https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme to see which EA account is actually linked to that steam one, and from here you can make any changes needed to get back into that EA account on the EA app.

@DeadlyDonut90 Indeed, apologies for the poor read on my part on that one, checking now you do appear to be logging into your linked account.

What i did notice is that fixing this should be relatively trivial, can you reset your EA account password then try again?
