Battlefield V wont open through EA Play app

I've tried to open battlefield 5 for the first time but when i clicked play button "launching game" window appears and i thought things are loading i guess but then nothings happened

I've also tried to open ea play app as an administrator but nothings changed

try to use this app via xbox app (linked it from xbox to ea play)

need answers ea you ruined my night!!!!!!!

    Welcome to the club my man. I've wasted countless hours on this abomination of a launcher and nothing works.

    I get the same and now with BF2042 the game is stuck on the trail version and wont let me play anymore but it works fine if I open Origin...

    @Marulovic Hey so I think i had the same problem, the game is "launching" and your status chances to "playing [whatever game you're trying to start]" right? I managed to figure out a workaround that fixed it for me and at least for 1 other person, i'm just going to ctrl+v it here

    After using CCleaner to fix the registry, uninstalling EA Desktop app and re-installing it (you don't have to uninstall the games themselves) and launching the app from the folder you installed it from (use the "EA Desktop" file NOT "EA Desktop Launcher) in "Administration mode" every game i've tried has started working properly. Rebooting is optional but recommended, also after re-installing it run registry fix once more

    @BigSam7337 I've got so many returns from different platforms, will try these methods if i can manage to create some free time. Thank you for responding
