@Marulovic Hey so I think i had the same problem, the game is "launching" and your status chances to "playing [whatever game you're trying to start]" right? I managed to figure out a workaround that fixed it for me and at least for 1 other person, i'm just going to ctrl+v it here
After using CCleaner to fix the registry, uninstalling EA Desktop app and re-installing it (you don't have to uninstall the games themselves) and launching the app from the folder you installed it from (use the "EA Desktop" file NOT "EA Desktop Launcher) in "Administration mode" every game i've tried has started working properly. Rebooting is optional but recommended, also after re-installing it run registry fix once more
