Can I get an EA Play Pro refund?

I purchased EA Play Pro on June 5th. I cancelled it today after being unhappy with the service. I was told that a refund can only occur within 7 days of purchase by one customer service agent. Another agent told me it had to be done within 72 hours. I was finally told that EA does not refund EA Play at all. I offered to pay the $14.99 for the month and have the remaining $85.00 refunded, but EA will not do that either.

It seems like my only option is to contact my credit card company to report the fraud. However, from what I can tell, if I do that, not only will EA lock me out of EA Play Pro (which is fine), they will further retaliate by locking me out of all my EA games. Is that correct?

purchased “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order”, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”, and “It Takes Two” before June 5th. Will I be locked out of those games as well?

  • @EA_Barry You changed the subject of my post from “Is EA Play Pro a scam?” I already know EA lacks the integrity to refund their unsatisfactory product.  My question has more to do with how petty and retaliatory EA is to their customers.

I will ask again, since the link you posted does not address my question, will I lose access to the EA games I purchased before I purchased EA Play Pro if I report the fraud to my credit card company?

  • @EA_Barry Here are some better suggestions for you to change my subject:

    ”How petty is EA?”

”Why does EA treat its customers so poorly?”

”Why is EA so desperate for $85?”
