Update on my issue with EA Play Pro and PayPal I have been unable to renew or purchase EA Play Pro via PayPal since January 2025. My last successful payment was in December 2024. Every attempt fails with the message “Your action cannot be processed…”.
I contacted both EA and PayPal multiple times. EA says the issue is on PayPal’s side, while PayPal insists my account is fine and claims the problem is with EA. My bank also confirmed there are no issues.
Recently, I tested a PayPal payment on Epic Games, where the transaction in USD went through without any problems. This proves that my PayPal account is fully functional. The failure happens only when the payment is processed in Russian rubles (RUB), which EA Play Pro currently requires.
So in practice, even though EA officially suspended sales only in Russia and Belarus, this issue is affecting many other CIS countries as well.
Please escalate this matter and provide a clear resolution. Customers should not be stuck for almost a year with both sides blaming each other.
