Hello, I game share my games with my friend, if i buy the special edition of FIFA 21, will my friend get the 3 day early acess aswell?

im game shared with my friend, he bought the game on his account (fifa) but he can get on the ea play trial i cant, is this because were game shared? Didnt think the ea play membership would effect this? Do i need to not be game shared to be able to play the fifa 21 trial? Keeps coming up with error download in store

So I’m 16 which means I have a child’s account and I’m trying to buy ea play so I can play fifa 21 but when I try and buy ea play it says, ‘this operation can one performed using ur account’ anyone know how I could buy it?

Hi @Burnie0909I don't know much about child accounts but it's likely you would need to use the main account to make a purchase. A child account may be protected to prevent them spending anything.

Hi @JoaoDasIntrosI’m not 100% on this but I would say yes. The only content your friend wouldn’t be able to play is the 10hr trial if you had one.

I would say it's a bigger problem because with EA Play Pro you should get full access from October 1st, and as long as you stay subscribed to EA Play Pro there is no need to buy the game.

What error does this give you when trying to access the game?

The only way to do this I would say is via the main account, but you would need to contact Playstation support for any account issues on the PSN network.

@EA_Darko I have the same problem and i am on ps4. The error message reads ‘This operation cannot be performed using your account.’

Hey @icet1505 that is a PSN error code, can you go ahead and ensure that the Gamertag that you are seeing this error with is set as the console's primary account and then try launching the game again.

If the account was set up as a sub-account then you may need to speak with PSN support about upgrading your account.

Hey @beckybinz if the game is not fully installed then just exit out of the game and leave it be while it installs, if you have FIFA 21 open and running, even in the background then your time will be used up.

Hey @JammyDodger719 as @CarbonCarl said above, you will need to speak with PSN support in relation to this. They are the only ones who will be able to advise you on what can be done.

When I am finished connecting to the EA servers i receive a message saying “Thank you for trying FIFA 21. The current active profile requires an active EA Access subscription and FIFA 21 entitlement. Please purchase EA Access and start your FIFA 21 trial.
I have purchased EA Access so I’m unsure on why it is not working.
