EA play/ game pass games will not start downloading (NO ERROR MESSAGE)

So I connected my Xbox account to my ea account in order to play game pass ea games. Naturally I go to install a game (star wars battlefront 2). Ea desktop launches, it takes me to the game page, sho...

this was happening to me too and uninstalling EA and reinstalling fixed the issue. not sure if you've tried that yet.
