You haven't bought the game, you've bought an Origin Access subscription. You need to cancel your subscription and BUY the Sims 4 base game.

I bought sims 4 today and downloaded it to my Mac but the play option in the origin is greyed out and when I try to open with the sims 4 app it says that I have to purchase but I already did. I tried to restart my Mac and origin app. How can I solve this?

    I've moved your post to this thread, please see the opening post on page 1. It sounds like you may have purchased an Origin Access subscription instead of the game.
