EA Play on steam or EA App?

I just want some clarification regarding EA Play.

Does the games differ if you choose to pay for EA Play through steam or EA App? Because on EA's website here https://www.ea.com/ea-play/games#steam BF 2042 is not included. But it is included on steams own website here https://store.steampowered.com/subscriptions/ea?l=swedish

 

Will I be able to play BF 2042 if I buy EA play through steam?

    Having an active EA Play subscription (thanks to gamepass) and my EA account linked to my steam account, what else would I need to do to access the games that are available on steam and not the EA app? Like for example DiRT Rally 2.0.

    EA Play subscriptions on different platforms are not linked.

    So to get access to the games part of EA Play subscription on Steam you will have to subscribe on Steam

    Your EA Play subscription through Game Pass will not give you access to Steam EA Play subscription

    Thank you for the clarification. That is so lame and poorly explained by the "Included with EA Play" message. Should be called EA Play Steam or something similar if they are different subscriptions.
