Just to clear up one important distinction here: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, but it does not include EA Play Pro. EA Play Pro is a separate membership available through the EA app on PC.
If the game you're trying to install is only included with EA Play Pro, you would therefore expect to see an option to purchase it.
If the game is part of the regular EA Play Play List, you should be able to access it through your Game Pass Ultimate membership. On PC, please check the following:
- Sign in to the Xbox app with the Xbox account that has an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
- Make sure the EA app is signed in to the EA Account linked to that same Xbox account.
- Start the EA Play title through the Xbox app. The Xbox app will then open the EA app and pass the EA Play entitlement through.
- Check the Connected Accounts section of your EA Account to make sure the correct Xbox account is linked.
I wouldn't recommend unlinking and relinking the accounts as a troubleshooting step, since changing linked platform accounts can affect access and progress.
If it still asks you to purchase the game after those checks, let us know which game you're trying to install. That will help us confirm whether it's included with standard EA Play or requires EA Play Pro.
