I can’t but ea play because my PlayStation account is under 18.
I want to buy ea play but think it’s impossible as I have an under 18 PlayStation account. Whenever I try to buy it online it just says something went wrong and it doesn’t even come up in the PlayStation store. After some research on here it seems to me that to buy ea play you need to have a direct payment method attached to the account. However because I’m under 18 my payment method comes from my parents account. I don’t have a wallet or a card attached, my parent account does and what I spend comes from there. Does this mean it’s impossible for me to get ea play?

In order to purchase EA Play, you must have a payment method that allows recurring subscriptions to renew. If it's not possible to add this payment method to your account, it will probably fail the transaction. Please note that if you're purchasing on your PlayStation, this transaction will go through them. Knowing that I suggest that you contact PlayStation support to confirm if everything is ok and if there's any other way you could complete this transaction.
