@PeekMyBanana It is a generic error. Unless there is an error code along with it, it typically indicates that there is an issue with the payment method.

This could be a lack of funds, wrong billing info entered or the bank or method being blocked.

If you try another payment method and run into the same, take a screenshot and reach out to live support so that they can take a look on your account! Players can contact our live support team on our Help Site. To request a chat or open a case through email.

Why does EA not want money?

I had a card that was working already, I can't renew, I tried another card, not working as well. Don't tell me EA wont accept bank cards anymore and instead only credit cards?

@PeekMyBanana They haven't stopped accepting them. If your payment method(s) aren't being accepted there is a reason.

Insufficient funds
Wrong billing info on the account
Billing info on the account or bank side changed
Connection error which would give an error code
Bank - Paypal - card hold (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc) has denied the transaction
We denied the transaction due to some type of fraud alert

These are the most common reasons why payments fail. Once you go through these and make sure the payment is accurate and not being blocked. You have to contact support.

The forums are not the correct avenue to check these as a CM has no visibility into getting that looked at on a player's account.
