why does ea desktop say i have ea play but origin and steam dont

I got Ea play through gamepass and have both my xbox and steam accounts connected to my ea account. the Ea desktop app confirms that i own an ea play subscription but origin and steam don't register....

    Hi @GreasyMoo,

    EA Play through the Xbox Game Pass is only available through EA Desktop and not through Origin or Steam.

    So if you want to make use of the EA Play offer, then you will have to use the EA app. 

    Hopefully this clarifies things for you.

Hi @GreasyMoo,

EA Play through the Xbox Game Pass is only available through EA Desktop and not through Origin or Steam.

So if you want to make use of the EA Play offer, then you will have to use the EA app.
