Community Manager@catpantalonesKUDOS!!!! Yoru steam suggestion hit the right spot. Deinstalled the EA version and installed it via steam and voila, the FFB was back. I lost my progress i had via the EA app but without FFB it was pointless to start the game. But yet had a reason to cancell out my EA Pro.

@C4_AU I had the same issue with my GT DD PRO and like @catpantalones i have tried the steam version which worked for me. Give it a try, think there is a 4h refund window (i think).
So I should be able to not use EA even if I had paid for F24 tru EA, and download it in steam?

no you have to refund it on EA and then repurchase on steam,
