Honestly, I'm a little less motivated to play than before the patch.
I was hoping for a better game, but it didn't feel as polished as I'd hoped.
Anyway, I'm enjoying 25 overall and I'm satisfied. I don't want to sound too harsh, but there's definitely room for improvement.
First of all, the wet race handling definitely needs improvement. F1 23 is a good reference.
And I think the AI is relatively good. The only problem is that the perceived intensity varies greatly from track to track and corner to corner. This could be attributed to individual setup and skill differences, but I've been playing this series for quite some time, so I think it's basically consistent.
I've been playing F1 games for a long time, so I'm familiar with all the circuits, but Silverstone in 25 is really tight. It wasn't like that in 23. Imola is also tight. Bahrain and Singapore are tighter, but not terribly difficult. Lowering the difficulty would be a good thing, but the problem is that the other circuits are too easy. Belgium, Australia, Austria, and Saudi Arabia are already too easy. The AI is either too good or too bad at some corners. That's the biggest problem.
The AI in Canada's T9 is too fast, and T10 is too slow. Imola's T12-13 and T14-15 are also too fast. Imola is so difficult that I can't even enjoy it anymore. Monaco's T18 is too slow, and Texas' T9 is always the corner where the AI runs away. Silverstone seems tight because it's not weak at all corners.
The developers will remember T7 at F1 22 Zandvoort. This issue may continue to be raised unless the differences in some corners are improved to maintain consistency across the circuits.
