I don't think this patch changed much in AI being OP in the rain. I just had the Singapore GP in my career mode with mixed weather conditions and... When I used 85% difficulty, on the Dry track I was about 1 second per lap faster than the fastst AI, but when it started to rain, the slowest AI was about 1,5 second per lap faster than me! And on the full wet tyres my car behaved just like i was using dry tyres on the wet track! (every other AI was on the wet tyres).

EA loves to hear criticism about this game. They've even limited Instagram comments. They should be ashamed of the disgraceful work they did in 2025.

The main problem is they do not focus enough on the basic fundamentals of the game. After the absolute debacle of F124 you'd think they would have to nail F125, they haven't.
The wet weather oversight was and continues to be calamity. Clearly never tested properly. So very poor.

Just did Texas in a wet dry weekend. If the AI cannot be changed further in the wet then the player car must be given better traction. Maybe full TC users are made Senna-like, leave the TC off alone if elite layers like it and I don’t know what to do about the in between settings. 2 seconds off the pace in a wet sprint, pole in the dry. Perfect pace in a dry first quarter of the race and way off the pace once the rains came.

No hope of playing a decent game this year. I wasted money pre-ordering this crap.

Maybe you should fix the qualifying glitch? What’s the point playing career mode if that glitch is ruining the game?

Here’s my feedback - and I’ll try to keep it objective.
First, I had a qualifying session in Melbourne in wet (intermediate) conditions, and I have to say that with the same AI difficulty as in dry conditions, I managed a fairly solid qualifying and wasn’t too far off the AI. However, in the race under full wet conditions it was an absolute disaster - I had no chance at all. To even remotely keep up with the AI, I had to lower the difficulty by 10 points (compared to dry conditions). To me, it feels like it varies a lot depending on the track and the level of wetness. As many have already mentioned, the player’s car generally lacks grip. This isn’t only about wet conditions - overall grip is missing, and it’s more noticeable on some tracks or corners than on others. For example, Turn 13 in China is a complete disaster.
But honestly, I don’t think it makes much sense to keep providing detailed feedback anymore. This patch was my last hope that career mode would still be playable. Like many others, for me there won’t be an F1 game from EA next year. It’s not about the smaller issues (like livery bugs) - I honestly couldn’t care less about that. But here we’re talking about fundamental things that simply need to work, and I still can’t believe the game was released with such a major issue. The fact that there’s still no solution by the end of September says it all.

EA are you reading the feedback here? It's clear that the patch did very little in the way of fixing the wet weather issues. Subtle changes at a push. Clearly more work is required.
It would be nice to hear back from you to state what your intentions are with another patch to fix what was supposed to be fixed in this one.
The rear traction in the wet even with full TC and the diff set to 10 it's awful. I'm so convinced this is where the main issue lies. The player car is nowhere near competitive enough against the AI like this in wet conditions. It's a massive oversight I'm sorry to say.
Why did you have to make such a massive change to the players car this year regarding traction in the wet? when all of the previous games were just fine in that regard?
We need some feedback from you to let us know what's happening? It's such a shame that all of the hard work that's been put into this patch just hasn't made enough difference.
Please let us know.
