It would be nice to have kind of a road to glory for MyCareer. I feel like you shouldn’t be able to load up career mode, and then pick the top team to race for. It should be set up to where you either do a full f2 career, or do three 5 lap feature races in f2, so based on your performance, shows the midfield and backMarker teams that would take you. You should have to work towards getting into the lead teams. Just my opinion.
Also better and more personal helmet customization. There’s not much to personalize to make your driver unique, but the very least should be to allow you to create logos and icons for your helmet, or download community logos. Red Bull and Racing Bull drivers always have Red Bull badges on their helmet, and if you get put in their team, you look odd when you don’t have their logos on your helmet. It would be a nice touch to have real sponsors, so when you’re customizing your helmet, you can choose only from the sponsors from your team. Petronas on Mercedes, BitDefender for McLaren, or Tag Heuer for Red Bull. It would also be nice to get external sponsors specific to you, like Telcel with Checo, or drink sponsors, things like that.

Kimi Antonelli would probably disagree with that sentiment.
It used to be that way back in the early 2010's where you could only start in the bottom half of the grid, but people complained about not being able to start as their favorite team, so they changed it to what we have now. If you personally want to start from the back and work your way up there's nothing stopping you, so I'm not sure why they should take the ability to start at the front away from those who want to do that.
