As I also mentioned in the Italian forum, the issue is that the maximum steering angle has increased a lot compared to F1 24.
If in F1 24 steering 100% gave you a certain amount of lock, in F1 25 you get significantly more, which leads to a situation similar to what used to happen with wheels in the early versions of F1 24, where players had to use excessive steering angles just to get the car to rotate properly.
This causes several issues: tyres wear (too much steering angle makes the tires scrub and degrade faster), slow direction changes (the more angle you use to steer left to right or vice versa, the slower the car responds), and traction problems (if you apply throttle with the wrong steering angle, the car often becomes unstable).
To solve this, there are two options: either a patch reduces the pad’s maximum steering angle, or an option is added to the pad settings that allows players to adjust it themselves, just like steering rate, saturation, linearity, etc.
