Fellow races probroally reject this idea due to them being competitive racers and not diehard sim enthusiasts. But this will most likely be better off in the reimagined game for 2027. Would require a complete weather system rework and possibly a new game engine and sessions being cancelled would be an interesting dilemma for career mode as well, I'm all in for this as a realism junkie.

Yeah I completely agree honestly. It probably would need a major overhaul of the weather/race control systems rather than just adding more rain effects.
I think the key thing is giving players the option though. Competitive players could keep the current system, while simulation-focused careers could enable full procedural race control.
The biggest thing for me is unpredictability. Real F1 weekends aren’t always “session starts normally and finishes normally.” Sometimes weather completely changes the story of the championship.
Imagine:
- qualifying cancelled at Spa
- delayed start at Suzuka
- sprint abandoned in Brazil
- half points after a shortened Singapore GP
Those moments would make career saves feel unique instead of every weekend following the exact same structure.
Would definitely fit a future-generation F1 game if they ever push harder toward simulation depth.
