Survival Mode Feedback Thread

I am setting up this thread so that we as a community can collate our feedback regarding the good and bad points.

Good Points

I like that there are weekly objectives that are easily obtainable and that you have to race without any setup changes as this evens out the grid.

I also like the speed limiter penalty for corner cutting as it is a strong deterrent for it. (Yes i have been a victim of this through trial and error)

Bad Points

I feel that the number of passive points you receive are not enough and means you have to do far too many races and that gets boring quickly

Suggestions

Allow us to setup lobbies for ourselves with our friends and also let us play against AI in single player as well.

Give more passive points per races.

Better penalty system for “griefers”

    Remove this game mode

    1. If you haven't played F1 world you are a severe disadvantage by default due to your car
    2.  There is quite a few bugs in the game mode right now including one where you can start with literally no steering ability like you have no front wing
    3. People are literally just using the AI pausing the game to take control for them and they're actually beating people
    4.  This is no way enjoyable.
    5. Just give us the skins and the helmets as another way through the game
    6. This was really badly implemented
  • Can we please make it a 20 car lobby instead of just 5, or a second lobby option for 20 cars, with unlimited ers and drs please?

Honestly, when the mode first came out and I couldn't access it, I was frustrated. But after today's hotfix, this is actually a fun mode. Granted I've had one race where one guy felt butt hurt not finishing 1st resulting in a 3 car collision but he still lost lol, but honestly a really fun game mode. I take back everything I said and owe the devs a heartfelt apology. Its really fun. HOWEVER, CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A 20 MAN LOBBY?????? A part of me feels like there should be a tiny bit of choas. I think the 5 man lobbies are good if you just want that little bit of fun but a full 20 man lobby, where there is no rules, everybody is going as quick as they can, elimination timer is a tiny bit faster, but with unlimited ers and Drs, give the option to perform quick switch backs. And have certain tracks like Austin, monza and other tracks where you can break the track limits rules and just have absolute choas (within reason and the limitation of fun, not at the cost of ruining someone's race obviously). This is obviously just a suggestion for making this game mode a bit more permanent and expanding on the 5 man lobby.

But well done devs I the hotfix, sorry for the harsh criticism on the game mode, the mode is really fun and enjoyable. Once again sorry and thank you for all the hard work you guys are putting into the game, keep it up and keep the game modes coming!!!!!!

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

The survival challenge in F1 2025 is infuriating. You're no longer driving race cars, you're driving yourself into trouble – crashing, colliding with other vehicles, deliberately causing accidents, all to get cars and helmets. It's a game reduced to pure frustration; as soon as you try to survive, you often get stuck, as if you've lost all sense of the point.

What's happening here is beyond disappointing: it's no longer about driving skill, fine-tuning, and clean, honest competition. No, it's about the quickest sacrifice, the cheapest trick to force rewards – no matter the price the game demands. And yes, that's annoying, frustrating, yes: **bleep**!

I demand a return to fair rules, to genuine competitive spirit instead of opportunistic crash wars. Safety, clear penalties for deliberate misconduct, better balance, so that legitimate success counts again. Let's build a rivalry based on skill, strategy, and respect—not on flawed game mechanics, bugs, or the temptation to deliberately endanger others for rewards.

    With hopeful regards

  • Hello,
Allowing the teams to have "special" liveries is a very good thing.
However, in my opinion, clean drivers should be rewarded, not "crazy drivers."
The very essence of F1 isn't about sending other drivers into the wall, but about being faster. We're not playing "Destruction Derby."
Racing against drivers who are ready to do anything to crash you and win doesn't make you want to race. Clean, fast driving should be valued more than reckless driving.
