I've played until the end of the season, got the option to renew the contract, I sign, but when the loading screen for the new season appears the game freezes and crashes.
I reloaded the save countless times with the same outcome, it crashed every time. Literally unplayable...
It looks like even if we request a lower wage than what the club offers. Once we request anything we have to complete even the optional task. Which is dumb. Your offerring me 300k i ask for 200 and because i dont complete a optional task u view everything as failed and send me to another club. Look like the key is not to change the wage at all even when u make it very low u have to complete the optional dumb score 5 bicycle kicks in order to stay with the club.
EA just released update 7… issue still isn’t fixed. This is absolutely terrible. It’s like they only care about the game modes where they make
money and not anything else. I’m a coder, it’s not hard to fix. The issue is blatant and they still wont fix it.
There’s a player on other threads sharing a petition to hopefully show there’s enough people with this issue. It’ll be cool if we can get a lot of

Choose the offer that you meet all requirements before season end game, and make it as your target club. Then play the last game, choose transfer at the end of season. if you are lucky you could play the second season
i started a new player career, all good, was 68 rated and then put in my points, now i’m 73, i think cool, about half a season goes by with me putting in my skill points but im still 73 i have like 86 passing or something, i think this is weird and decide to restart game, doesn’t work, restart console, doesn’t work, and now even when i take all skill points away its still 73 how do i fix this?

I cannot continue player Career mode. So could you solve the problem as shown in the attachment?
The problem is that I cannot progress next season because I cannot renewal the contract and accept other team's proposal.
18.02.2024 - I have the same problem, I tried different things and just wasted time. I found this topic trying to find a solution on google. Sad that EA doesn't give a * about their customers. It seems that the bug has been around for a long time and nothing is being done about it.
