Community ManagerI'm not aware of any issues with this. Child accounts under the age of 13 are not able to partake in multiplayer modes. Offline modes are playable for all ages though. This is intended.

This is not the experience currently with EA Sports FC24 on PS4.
Please advise.

We cannot change this as we have to comply with the regulations of each country.
@EA_AljoYes, I have read that and for the UK it is 13 years old, but that does not matter if I set the parental restriction to higher than 13years old for any PS4 games except EA FC24.
And per your previous comment, there is also no restriction to play offline, however this is also not the case. You can't even launch the game unless your age setting is set to 12+
Please explain.
I am not sure this is an EA issue, as I have set my childs account to unrestricted many years ago and he cannot download / install Fortnite!
So upon purchasing FC24 without any knowledge of this setting in PS4 / FC24 I had not idea this was going to become another issue.
So where ever the problem lies either Sony or EA (or both) it HAS to be sorted out and quick as this pretty much renders the game useless!!!
