My 11 year old younger brother is being blocked from using online services (including Ultimate team) on EA FC 24 on PS4.When he tries to log on the following message appears:"Online service is disabled on your Account for PlayStation Network due to parental control restrictions. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for addition information".We have gone on the "parent" account and removed any restrictions for his account, and he is still not able to get into ultimate team.We also talked to Sony, and they said to ask EA.When I look on his PS4, it says that EA FC is on parental control level 5 (indicating an age rating of about 12 years old), which is not correct as far as I can tell, so might it be that the game is coded incorrectly on the PS4? Has anyone else had this problem, and can anyone from EA please help us out here?We are from, and live in Norway if that helps.

@ArcadeHustle Yeah, of course. But he should have access to UT. He had/has access to FUT on FIFA 23, so very strange that he can access UT on FC 24

@EA_Aljo This is certainly the case for FIFA23 and FIFA22This is not the case for EAFC24 however.The game is advertised on the PS Store as a PEGI-3 game yet it cannot even be LAUNCHED on PS4 unless the child account is set to an age restriction level of 12+Even if parental controls are relaxed completely, this does not allow a child to play any of the online aspects of the game. Again, this is not the experience with FIFA22 or FIFA23.EA Sport FC24 is NOT following the PlayStation 4 parental controls.

I am having the same issues.This needs to rectified immediately.I have relaxed all parental controls and still its not working for my son the game is rated a 3 and therefore should have access at aged 11.he has also not received any of his rewards!!

We have the exact same issue. My 9 year old just wants to play ultimate team and he can't. Surely we should be allowed to at least overrule the restriction as a parent if we choose to let them play. This is crazy and my son just isn't interested in playing without ultimate team.

Same issue here. My son can’t even update the squads since online services are restricted. This pretty much bricks the game. What’s the bloody point of spending all this money on a game when basic features are restricted based on nonsense reasons?

Unfortunately, as long as they are on a child account, they won't be able to play until they get to the minimum age requirement for your country. Those details can be found here.

My son is 14 and FC2025 refuses to let him go online at all. It is not the case that you are aligned with playstation, since FC2024 has been working fine. So disappointing that an expensive game, being played by a child more than old enough to be allowed it, doesn't work properly. It should have been effortless but so far I've wasted about a day trying to find a solution.

Hi. I'm 14 and this problem is still occurring on my ps4. I try to login and it comes up with the same message everytime. I have connected my account with my parents and my parent has turned off all restrictions but it still occurs. I can't access any online features. It's clearly not an issue on our end as we have tried everything from turning off restrictions to reseting wifi. Please fix this soon -thanks
