PC's don't have multiple generations. This applies to consoles only.

Hey dude, one Question i have the 2 consoles and i have bought the standard version on my PS5 but when i go to my other console the PS4 it says that the standard version only can by play on the PS5, so i dont understand if i will be able to download the standard version also on my PS4 when the game is out???

All versions of FC 24 come with dual entitlement so Xbox Series X and PS5 will also have access to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. You can find more information on this here.

Does this apply to buying the physical version as well? If I buy the PS5 version physically, will I get the PS4 version too?

Thanks for the response. But it doesn't say anything about the physical version of the PS5. 

In fact, it says "Be aware though that physical stores also sell PS5-only packaged products which will be playable only on a PlayStation 5 console."

This makes it very concerning for those who pre-ordered the PS5 physical disc, myself included. I'm not sure if it'll allow me to play the PS4 version with some of my friends. 

Would you recommend I order the PS4 physical version instead?

As you can see, physical versions of the game come with dual entitlement. If you need the physical version of FC 24 for PS4, you'll need to buy that separately since the physical version for PS5 would give you access to download the PS4 version.

@EA_Aljo okay thank you for the response. I really hope this is the case as I already pre-ordered the PS5 version physically.

Based on the cover art I've seen, the PS4 version says that the PS5 upgrade is available, but the cover art for the PS5 makes no mention of dual entitlement.

I just hope I get access to both versions so I can play with some of my friends too.

I have bought EA FC ultimate edition this year which comes with dual entitlement. 

Firstly, how do I switch to the PS4 version.

Secondly, if I do switch to the PS4 version, will that mean I can play my friends who are still on Xbox one as it would be the same gen?

PS4 can play Xbox One since it's the same console generation. You just need to download the PS4 version to play.

I dont have an option to download on Ps4 .  Even though i bought ulimate version on Ps5.  

i have a feeling a needed to buy dual entitlement version for another £10  which i totally missed.

The Standard and Ultimate Editions both come with dual entitlement. You don't need to buy anything else. You should be able to search the game library on the device you play on to find both versions.

Thats what i was hoping.

just nothing in the library on ps4.  And in ps store no option to download.

what i now wonder is both ps5 and ps4 set up as me being the primary account.  (My son also has accounts on both ps4 and ps5)  so wondering if that could be an issue.  

never been a problem in the past, however last week had to reset ps4 back to default settings after it crashed.

i went into account settings and refreshed licences and it then showed up in purchases in PS store.  Now downloading.

Is there any possible way that pc players can play old gen or it is impossible?

How do I go about downloading old gen with a disc I put the disc in my console and it automatically downloads the new gen version how do I download the old gen version with the disc 

@lazynick_111 - did you get a confirmed response/answer to this? Are you able to access the PS4 version of the game after purchasing the PS5 physical edition? All over the forum I haven't seen a confirmed answer to this.

You can't download the old gen version from the disc. As long as you're on PS5 and have the PS5 disc, you can download the PS4 version on your PS5.

Did you have the physical edition for ps5?
