EA FC will not have cross progression - if you buy the game for the Xbox, you will only be able to play it on the Xbox. Similarly, if you buy it for the PC, you will only be able to use that version of the game on the PC.
The game is also not made for the tablet/phone and, except for the Companion App, you won't be able to play the game on those devices at all.
Thank you for your reply, I know its not cross progression or built for mobiles/tablets. Obviously there is cloud gaming which can be streamed to various sources as I play FIFA on my tablet/Xbox and PC. I meant if there was still going to be this feature where with Xbox there is cloud gaming or Xbox play anywhere which means we can play the game from Xbox via windows PC?
So Cloud gaming only came to Fifa 23 I think recently, sometimes its once the game is on EA play because its then classed as Game Pass Ultimate. I think it was the start of August it was added this year. I doubt it will be from day 1 but potentially later in the cycle
Yeah I'm hoping they will allow us to do it through digital copies this year from the start. Seems a bit odd not to include it going forwards after the success of its game pass/EA play. I'm still a bit miffed why we have to pay for this game when they make so much on Ultimate Team being pay to win.
