"Already have an evolution version of this player" error

Which mode has this happened in? Ultimate Team™
Which part of the mode? Evolutions
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 03/01/2024
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 18:05
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try submitting an already evolved player into the new evolution
What happens when the bug occurs? It doesn't let me submit the player
What should be happening instead? I should be able to submit the eligible player

I'm not able to submit my already evolved Eddie Nketiah into the new evolution, because it says I already have an evolution of this player. It doesn't work on the Web app either.

    Hey all,

    We can see from your post that you're receiving an error mentioning you already have an Evolution version for that player. To investigate this issue, please share the following info:

    • Platform:
    • Account:
    • Evolution you're trying to activate:
    • Name, Rating, and Version of the Item you're selecting for this Evolution: 
    • Do you have other versions of the same player? If yes, mention them.
    • Did you discard another Evo item of that player in the past?
    • Error message received when you try to select the player:
    • Screenshot of the message.

    hi im trying to do evo on darwin nunez. I have finished the skill moves evo on him and am now going to make a generous goalscorer. He comes up to fit in but says I already have an evo when it's the evo I'm trying. The error came today, March 1, when evo came out

    When I try to put a previously evolved player into fantasy Fc assisting winger or generous goalscorer, I get an error that says "You already have an evolution version of this player", even though that is the only version of the player I have and he fits all the requirements. No issue with non evo cards, only 3 days left on the Assisting winger evo.

    Same issue for me as its not allowing me to evolve my darwin nunez.

    If it helps towards a solution, if the devs ever look at this, I did have a TOTW version of Eddie Nketiah that it was allowing me to preview, whereas it doesn't let me preview for the evolved Nketiah I have. I have since removed the TOTW Nketiah I had, and the base gold one, but still can't evolve the evolved one I have.

    I also previously had and evo of Nketiah in the Trailblazer Striker one, but I put that one in an SBC in order to start this new path into the TOTY Striker Prospect, Skill Moves and Weak Foot ones.

    @BudlogSVKToday I have got the same exact error with Dele Alli, I discarded a previous evolution of him in order to do this Evo and now I can't.

    All of us who have discarded an "evo" of a player, either with SBC or with a quick sale, now we cannot evolve the basic gold version into another new evolution

    You evolved Nketiah in the Trailblazer Striker, and it was discarded in an SBC... That's the bug. I hope they fix this ASAP because the evos will expire.

    I have the same problem with an 84 koki saito. I thought it could be solved by discarding and reclaiming him but now it's in my store as a duplicate as if its a tradeable card. Hope it will be solved soon otherwise I cant upgrade and not even use my favorite card anymore...

    Having trouble with the generous goal scorer evo, not allowing me to put a player into the evo…?
