Auto Switching

In my settings I have it set to On Air Balls and Loose Balls. I usually manually switch but there's been times where I've needed auto switch to work and there will be a loose ball and my player hasn't switched, I don't manage to switch manually in time and my opponent manages to get the ball. This never happened in FIFA 23, but it happens all the time on this game. I mean, I thought the whole point of that setting was so that if there's a loose ball or an air ball, it switches automatically to the nearest player to the ball.
